About the Brand

The La Pavoni lever espresso machine was the first of its kind in Italy and Europe. Invented by Desiderio Pavoni and patented by Luigi Bezzera in 1902, it is now widely used in coffee and espresso bars around the world. Coffee is produced when water then steam from a horizontal boiler passes through ground coffee at just the right pressure enabling the machine to produce a perfect cup of exceptionally smooth tasting coffee.

In addition to a complete line of commercial units for foodservice and hospitality use, La Pavoni Spa has developed the original lever machine along with other traditional espresso machines and grinders for residential use.

The La Pavoni PUB Espresso Machine 1V-R 1 Group Volumetric - Red is made with press-forged brass and IS chrome plated. With A vertical infusion chamber and pressurization system eliminates group dripping. It has a copper boiler equipped with front mounted transversal heat exchangers and injectors for each group. Independent radiator hydraulic system for every group allows for consistent water circulation throughout the boiler and thermal stability. An anti-vacuum valve eliminates liquids from back flushing into the steam wand. It has a mounted gauge to monitor boiler pressure. It comes with spring taps for hot water and steam and features one double portafilter and 2 coffee baskets.
